Should I give "Read Notifications" permission to Google Assistant

 

This permission is asked by Google Assistant when you enable Read Notification feature on Google Assistant. Via this feature, Google Assistant can be activated and de-activated with the help of the button given in your wired headphone and can help you reading aloud the notifications received by your phone.

Now, the problem is that for this particular feature of Google Assistant, it is necessary to allow the "Read Notifications" permission as per the Android OS rules. 

So, the question is, "Should I give "Read Notifications" permission to Google Assistant?".

Well Your phone may alert you that this is a very sensitive information as per security basis, since this can even allow any app to read your OTPs, bank info messages etc.
