Priyanka Gandhi Vadra takes a jibe at PM Modi's statement on verbal abuse

Modi had said that the party and its leaders had directed 91 types of abuses at him until now. Vadra stated that "at least 91 abuses could be contained on one page; if we were to compile the list of the abuses that they have hurled against my family, we would be able to write many books." She added that she has seen many prime ministers, including Indira Gandhi, who took bullets for the country, Rajiv Gandhi, who sacrificed his life for the country, and P V Narsimha Rao and Manmohan Singh, who worked hard for the country. 

Vadra remarked that Modi is the first Prime Minister she has seen who comes before the public and complains that he is being abused. "Instead of addressing your sorrow, he comes here and tells you his troubles," she said. She mocked Modi by stating that someone in his office had compiled a list not of the public's problems, but of who had abused the Prime Minister numerous times. Vadra then urged Modi to learn from her brother Rahul Gandhi, who "is ready to take a bullet for the sake of this country, not just abuse. 

My brother says he will stand for truth, whether you abuse, shoot a bullet, or stab him with a knife." She encouraged Modi not to be afraid, saying that "this is public life, and one must bear such things. One must be courageous and move forward." Additionally, she recommended that he listen to the voice of the people.
